This aid supports one-off actions aimed at developing international projects in the classical music sector. It is designed to enhance the visibility and reach of classical music initiatives beyond France, facilitating activities that contribute to the global presence of French classical music.

Beneficiaries

The funding is available to structures affiliated with the CNM that are engaged in international development projects in classical music. Eligible beneficiaries include:

• Phonographic production companies
• Show production entities
• Music publishers
• Distribution companies
• Management agencies
• Self-employed artists and artistic agents
• Collectives and ensembles

Excluded: Projects not affiliated with the CNM or those not meeting the specific criteria.

Eligible operations

The aid can cover a variety of eligible expenses, including:

• Professional prospecting travel for meetings and trade shows
• Marketing and promotional activities, including digital promotion and content creation
• Promotional tours and showcases
• Concert tours, including expenses for master classes and free concerts
• Composer residencies abroad
• Invitations for international professionals

Not covered: General operating expenses unrelated to the project.

Eligibility conditions

To qualify for this aid, projects must:

• Include at least one phonogram available on three legal streaming platforms (not applicable for contemporary repertoire)
• Meet at least one of the following:
• Be signed with a phonographic production structure with a permanent establishment in France
• Have a publishing structure with a permanent establishment in France
• Be registered with the CNM and hold an entertainment entrepreneur license
• Be represented by an agent with a permanent establishment in France.

Grant amount

The aid amount ranges from €400 to €20,000. It cannot exceed the cash contribution or valuation of the project-carrying structure. Additionally, the total amount of grants from other organizations must not exceed 50% of the total budget. Each beneficiary can receive up to €100,000 per year under this program, and the overall limit across all aesthetic fields is €200,000.
