Eligible applicants include:

• Individual companies of any size registered in France
• Consortia led by a primary company, which must include at least one SME or mid-cap

Collaborative projects are encouraged, especially those that involve multiple industrial and research partners.

Eligible operations

The call supports significant innovative projects at any maturity stage that create value at the French and European levels, including:

• R&D initiatives anticipating 5G and 6G developments
• Development of secure telecommunications solutions
• Projects aimed at enhancing the environmental impact of telecom networks

Eligible project types include individual initiatives by startups, SMEs, mid-caps, and large companies, as well as collaborative projects lasting between 3 to 5 years.

Eligibility conditions

Project proposals must:

• Contribute to a sovereign French and European telecommunications excellence center
• Address market demand with a clear access strategy
• Detail technological innovation compared to existing solutions
• Specify the economic, social, and environmental impacts
• Present total expenditures exceeding €2 million (or €1 million for SMEs with individual projects).

Grant amount

Funding will be provided in a mixed format, combining a grant and a repayable advance, with the total amount determined based on the project’s specifics. This flexible funding structure aims to support a wide range of innovative initiatives.
