This investment aid aims to support very small enterprises in their development and environmental transition. It encourages traders and craftspeople to modernize their operations and promotes the reoccupancy of vacant commercial spaces. The scheme ultimately seeks to maintain and create jobs within the local economy.

Beneficiaries

This scheme is available to very small enterprises operating within the ten municipalities of Val de Fensch. Eligible criteria include:

• A maximum of 20 employees (full-time equivalent)
• Registration with the Craft Register or the Business Register
• Financial stability and compliance with social and tax obligations
• Revenue below €2M in the previous financial year
• In a phase of development, creation, or transfer.

Excluded sectors include liberal professions, civil real estate companies, and businesses where the eligible activity is not the main focus.

Eligible operations

The grant covers various investment categories:

• Real estate improvements: external beautification (facades, signage), internal decoration, and modernization of furniture.
• Safety and compliance investments: security installations (anti-intrusion devices) and accessibility improvements for persons with reduced mobility.
• IT equipment acquisition: hardware (excluding connectivity), website development, and online sales tools.

Not covered are vehicle acquisitions, goods from private individuals, leasing purchases, consumables, self-performed labor costs, and invoices under €50 excluding VAT.

Eligibility conditions

Key eligibility conditions include:

• No prior grants received under this scheme in the last two years.
• Compliance with financial and operational criteria as outlined above.

Grant amount

Grants represent 20% of the investment, capped at €5,000 per enterprise. This can increase to 30% up to €7,500 for storefront and facade improvements or for reoccupying vacant premises for at least three months. Note that beneficiaries cannot submit a new application for two years after receiving aid.
