Objectives

Beneficiaries

Eligible beneficiaries include:

• Walking hostels and lodges with a minimum capacity of 8 beds, located on a structured route (within 5 km), and open for at least 6 months per year.
• Group accommodations with a minimum capacity of 14 beds, also open for a minimum of 6 months.
• Mixed accommodations with at least 14 beds across multiple units on the same site.

Civil Real Estate Companies (SCI) may qualify under certain conditions.

Eligible operations

The grant covers various investments aimed at improving facilities, including:

• Enhancements for customer comfort and employee working conditions.
• Energy performance improvements that meet eco-conditionality criteria.
• Construction and development work, including roads and networks.
• Compliance work as part of a comprehensive renovation program.
• Diversification projects such as swimming pools, saunas, and wellness equipment, prioritizing sustainable resource management.
• Catering area improvements (limited to 40% of the total project).
• Fees and ancillary costs related to project management and energy performance diagnostics.

Eligibility conditions

• Facilities must aim for level 3 services of a nationally recognized framework or equivalent.
• Grants are not retroactive; eligible expenses must be submitted to the inter-municipal cooperation body before any commitment.
• Eligible expenses must exclusively relate to tourist accommodation, with a pro-rata basis applied if necessary.
• Operations must involve a minimum investment of €15,000 excluding VAT.

Grant amount
