Call for Projects ‘Committed Enterprises’: Grants up to €40,000

The ‘Committed Enterprises’ initiative supports micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises across France aiming to significantly reduce their energy and environmental impact. Grants range from 15% to 30% of eligible expenses, depending on the size of the enterprise, with a maximum cap of €40,000. Eligible projects must undergo an energy audit before applying. The application deadline is set for 31 décembre 2025.

Objectives

This call for projects aims to provide financial assistance to enterprises that are committed to reducing their energy consumption and environmental footprint. Eligible investments include energy-efficient renovations, equipment upgrades, and the development of sustainable mobility solutions. The initiative encourages businesses to adopt innovative practices that contribute to ecological transition.

Beneficiaries

The program is designed for:

  • Micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (TPE, PME, ETI) registered with the RNE, URSAFF, or the commercial court registry.
  • Enterprises created before 1 January 2021.
  • Financially sound businesses not subject to collective proceedings and up to date with social and tax obligations.

Excluded from eligibility are:

  • Real estate development companies, banks, agricultural enterprises, and retail businesses located within shopping malls.

Eligible operations

Eligible expenses include:

  • Equipment purchases and labor costs related to project implementation.
  • Engineering studies.

Specific eligible works include:

  • Thermal improvements to buildings over 15 years old, such as insulation and roofing.
  • Energy consumption reduction measures for HVAC systems, lighting, and energy management systems.
  • Development of soft mobility solutions, including cargo bikes and related infrastructure.

Not eligible are investments solely for regulatory compliance or replacements without significant performance improvements.

Eligibility conditions

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Complete an energy audit conducted by a recognized entity (CCI, CMA, BPI France, or specialized engineering firms).
  • Meet minimum eligible expense thresholds: €5,000 for micro-enterprises, €10,000 for small and medium-sized enterprises, and €20,000 for medium-sized enterprises and SCIs.

Grant amount

Grants cover between 15% and 30% of eligible expenses, depending on enterprise size, with a maximum grant amount of €40,000. This funding can be combined with other financial aids, subject to specific regulations. Applications are accepted until 31 décembre 2025.
